Ascension is the world’s largest Catholic healthcare system with facilities in 23 U.S. states alone. The client’s ask was for a well-designed, high-level presentation to communicate that providers must begin adapting to the growing consumer-centered reality in digital healthcare. As part of an internal employee workshop, the presentation needed to be easy for the speaker to use while appearing to not look like a traditional presentation.


High-level messaging with custom image composites and simple animations


In response, I worked directly with a PR accounts team to craft a script that appealed to the audience and visual devices that were consistent, on topic, and followed brand guidelines. The bold visuals, created in Photoshop® and inserted in PowerPoint®, are composite images using stock photography and shots of actual client-owned digital assets. The simplicity of slide content drives the visual and messaging impact of the client ask. Most slides incorporate questions that fly-in on a click which provided audience engagement while allowing the presenter to focus on speaking rather than on clicking thru complex animations.
